Awesome Git GUI

Awesome Git GUI (AGG) will be an intuitve and nice looking GUI for Git.

I plan to make a software for Git that provides a nice looking GUI. So this project is still in design phase. But I want to publish the idea on this page before any code is written, because I hope some feedback will be given.

Currently I plan to write the program using the Clutter toolkit to get a nice looking eye-candy GUI. My main target is to provide a clean and modern GUI for Git, so that unexperienced users (not only developers but also normal users), who don't want to use any commandline interface or are not familiar with a SCM are able to use Git.
